Preserving Traditional Leaded Glass Art

At Paul Vitrail, we carry forward traditional art glass design workflows, combining geometric metalwork with custom stained glass panel engineering.

Classic Came Assembly

Leaded glass design requires absolute precision. To engineer window partitions and ceilings that handle structural settlements, our studio relies on premium zinc, brass, and copper came channels. This allows individual glass modules to rest securely without experiencing pressure points.

Each joint is hand-fluxed and soldered using lead-free compounds in our local studio, preventing air leakage and offering a stable, clean finish.

Water-Tight Cementing

We apply a traditional linseed-oil based black cement beneath our metal channels. This sealant prevents rain infiltration and dampens sound vibrations, protecting structural glass art.

All clean glass offcuts are sorted and recycled back to glassmakers to reduce materials waste profiles.
